Youth Day & Overnight Canoe Trips

Our one-of-a-kind Day and Overnight Canoe Trips are aimed to promote independence while getting kids outside to enjoy our beautiful backcountry. These trips are offered at a number of locations in BC! During our trips we offer a large range of activities including basic canoe skills, basic first aid, wilderness code of conduct, meal preparation, shelter building, tarp and rope use, knots and more! All of our overnight programs include food, cooking equipment, canoe equipment and experienced guides to lead the way!

Do you require financial assistance? Our team does everything we can to price these trips as affordable as possible! It truly is our mission to get as many youth outside no matter their socioeconomic status. We understand that the regular pricing may still be out of reach for many of our community members. With that in mind, Ridge is working towards a private in-house foundation that will allow us to help more families make these dream trips come true for their children. Our goal is to have this program launched by the summer of 2024!
