Ridge Wilderness is thrilled and grateful to partner with BC Parks Foundation and their 25×25 initiative to provide an outdoor experience in a local BC Park! Our day will consist of a Big Canoe experience on the breathtaking Pitt Lake which borders both Golden Ears Park and Pinecone Burke Park. The experience has been fully funded by BC Parks Foundation and will be free for the participants. The program is open to youth between the ages of 12-17 and will include a sandwich, snack and bottle of water! Transportation to and from the Pitt Lake boat launch is not included.

As part of our 25×25 initiative, the BC Parks Foundation has provided funding to community groups to organize one outdoor event each in a BC Provincial Park. We want to connect new people to nature – join us and spark the spirit of adventure!
25×25 is an initiative of the BC Parks Foundation. The Foundation is an independent charitable foundation that serves as the official charitable partner to BC’s system of parks and protected areas.
